Radiografía del sinhogarismo en municipios afectados por la Dana
Sant Joan de Déu / 2026
design
The report's editorial design is conceived as a clear, accessible, and visually compelling communication tool, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences. The design adopts the colors associated with the DANA storm—blues and browns—as its chromatic theme, evoking both water and mud, elements that define the material and emotional memory of the event. The visual narrative is supported by the photographic project of artist Pedro Mecinas, whose images contribute a documentary and human dimension that complements the analytical discourse.
The page structure establishes a strong information hierarchy through the use of bold typefaces to highlight figures, key concepts, and concise phrases, facilitating a quick and structured reading experience. This organization is complemented by graphic resources, diagrams, iconography, and numerical highlights that promote immediate comprehension of the content. Furthermore, the horizontal composition, the wide margins, and the directional treatment of the typography visually reinforce the ideas of displacement, erosion, and transformation of the territory caused by the DANA storm, giving the whole a graphic identity consistent with the subject of the study.
