Icons is Ricard Balanzà's children's proposal for the Falla Penya El Mocador de Sagunt, in 2022. The set of eighteen dolls represent the different icons of Valencian design.
The booklet is the result of activities and workshops with the children, it contains the explanation of the falla and the trajectory of the artist Ricard Balanzà in this commission. During the workshops, the sketch was taken from all the children and it was reinterpreted giving it the particular vision of each one about the Valencian icons, learning through references such as Alfredo Ruiz, Ibán Ramón, Ana Illueca, among others, that, in the form of educational games, they are reflected in the script.

The giant poster is the explanation of the falla and the outline seen from our eyes. A giant, educational and different booklet to be able to hang at the casal.
Going back to fabric and sewing brings us closer to traditional and original failures, that is why we have also learned the importance of using materials that return us to the roots from the present.
